ACRYLIC / COTTON

Acrylic gets weight and toughness when blend with cotton and cotton provides moisture absorbtion and tenacity to blend. Besides all these increases crease resistance. Prefers in “wash&wear” clothes as sport clothes.

ACRYLIC:
Acrylic has similar handle with wool. Has a low density and resistant to light and chemicals. Clothes keeps warm thanks to low transmit of heat. High resistant to soiling and gets original state with wash and dry cleaning even soiled. Acrylic is resistant to light therefore prefers to clothes which expose under sun light.

CARDED COTTON YARNS:

Carded cotton yarn produces with shorter stapel cotton fiber than cotton combed yarn without combing process. Carded cotton yarn produces by system of  “ring spinning” or “open end spinning”.

CARDED COTTON (RING):

Seed fibers get by treat of plant seeds. The most important of the seed fibre is cotton. Cotton is the one of common usage fiber all around the world for 5000 years and constitutes more than 33% in total textile fiber consumption. Production of cotton increases along with consumption increase.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS OF COTTON:

Cotton is high tenacity fiber thanks to cellulosic convolutions. In the wet state tenacity increases.

Tenacity and brightness of cotton yarn(fabric) increase by mercerising process.
Cotton’s dye absorbtion and  dye fastness characteristics are well.
The fibres are resistant to alkalis. Fiber gains tenacity, smoothness and brightness  thanks to mercerising by sodium hydroxide solution.
Cotton is not weakened by organic acids as acetic acid.
Cotton does not harm by moth.
Cotton fabrics take on soil easily because of roughness on fabric surface but can wash easily. Fabric is not weakened by high temperature water, strong detergent even soap.
Cotton fiber has a very good absorbtion thanks to cellulose. Takes on moisture without wet sense. Able to take water till 65% rate of itself weight without drop
