KARVIS

KarsuTekstil has been producing viscose based yarns since 2003 under KarVis trademark. KarVis yarns are presented to our customers with the high quality obtained through expert staff, advantages of yarn characteristics, and KarsuTekstil’s improved production methods.

In KarVis, which is span with Vortex airjet system having superior spinning characteristics, hairs longer than 3 mm are eliminated. This process is named as negative raising.  Singeing process may not be preferably applied for the clothes produced from KarVis yarns.

Humidity Absorption and Drying Fast
Vortex yarns give the feeling of comfort during sport activities, in summer nights and in other times. Although the feeling of cool and dry, high twisted yarns are criticised due to their low capacity of absorbing the humidity. With the unique spinning technology, Vortex yarns are also able to absorb the humidity as good as possible.

Comparison of Pilling Resistance
 
Pilling values of KarVis yarn is significantly better than the pilling values of open-end and ring yarns.

KarVis yarn is also more resistant to the wearing effect of washing. Following 100 times of washing, the colour fastness value is 4 by KarVis, whereas by cloth woven with ring and open-end yarns are 3.
