Viloft® the Thermal Viscose
Viloft® – the warm viscose fiber
Thanks to its flat fiber cross-section, special textiles can be designed which are particularly warm. Viloft’s modified cross-section creates air pockets in the textile which act as a buffer against the cold. Textiles made of Viloft® reveal particularly good insulation values. Conventional viscose fibers tend to be smooth and cooling and thus are not suitable for warm clothing. Viloft® on the other hand has warming properties and is at the same time a natural cellulose fiber.
The thermal performance of Viloft® has been proven in tests. Comparing Viloft® knit fabrics with cotton knit fabrics shows that Viloft® fabrics have 30% higher thermal insulation. A small percentage of Viloft® fiber is enough to make textiles warmer. With the specialty viscose Viloft® fiber, designers can create particularly warm and skin-friendly textiles. Viloft® is naturally soft, supple and breathable. In blends with synthetic fibers and wool, Viloft’s properties are shown to be particularly effective since moisture absorption and softness are desired benefits. This precise combination of fiber properties makes Viloft® ideal for use in the lingerie sector. Warm and modern designs can be created with Viloft®. Another advantage is the ease of care. Viloft® textiles can be machine washed without any problems.

TENCEL® SUN - Botanic sun protection
TENCEL® SUN is the outdoor fiber for discerning demands. It is by nature ideal for clothing in which moisture absorption plays a role. The fiber offers a wide range of functions for sports clothing such as perfect moisture management, skin friendliness and temperature balance. Thanks to an incorporated sun protection agent, TENCEL® SUN is the ultimate fiber for activewear and outdoor clothing.
Permanent protection from the sun
The integrated sun protection remains active even after repeated washing.
Permanent pigment incorporation accounts for the functionality of TENCEL® SUN. The pigment comes from minerals and provides a long-term protection from solar radiation. Even after washing the clothing several times, TENCEL® SUN maintains its effectiveness.Tests show that a UV protection factor (UPF) of up to 110 can be reached.
